The SFC community raised over one million dollars, a record amount, at the 29th Annual Auction & Celebration at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort on April 29, 2017. God continues to provide for SFC in amazing ways. Over 60 volunteers and approximately 320 guests made this event an incredible success. SFC bidders purchased items online such as special outings, restaurant gift certificates, and SFC-centric packages such as Teacher for the Day, during the week prior to the event. At the event itself, donors raised their paddles in the live auction, bidding on exciting packages donated by generous SFC families. Packages such as an instant wine cellar, golf with NFL players,  Dodger fan weekend, recording session with Switchfoot, and several luxury trips to Cancun, Las Vegas, Park City, and La Mision, Mexico.

The live auction and “Fund the Future” is a highlight of the night impacting every aspect of campus life. Net proceeds will go toward technology, academic programs, teacher professional development, facility improvements, financial aid, arts, athletics, missions, and the William Wardrip Foundation.

During the successful philanthropic event, SFC alum parents Steve and Paige Huffman were presented with the Faithful Servant Award. This award honors those who have invested their time, talent and treasure into the mission and vision of Santa Fe Christian Schools. Steve Huffman declares, “We want to be a part of the future plans of SFC! We give to SFC today for the future generations of Christian leaders, just as the many others who did before us.”

We are truly humbled by everyone’s support, and it shows our community is united and dedicated to working together to make SFC a great school,” states Ari Peterson, Director of Development.

Would you like to be a part of the legacy? Give to SFC.
