Santa Fe Christian Schools did it again! In addition to SFC’s Lower School being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon school, this year, the Middle School is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of the Department Education as a National Blue Ribbon School. What makes this award even more prestigious is SFC is the only Middle School in California to receive this award in 2015 and one of only two private Middle Schools in the United States to be recognized as an Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School.

“It is a great honor for the school, affirming the efforts of the entire community: teachers, parents, students, and staff,” Todd Deveau, Principal of SFC Middle School states. “Our vision at Santa Fe Christian is to be a model for world-class Christian education and receiving the National Blue Ribbon as an Exemplary High Performing School is a significant step toward that goal.”

SFC’s Head of Schools Dr. Tom Bennett proudly states, “This award recognizes the rigorous standards that our make our schools excellent year after year. I am thrilled that our Middle School now joins our Lower School in this prestigious designation.” Dr. Bennett continues, “Each day our dedicated faculty continues to build on our legacy of academic excellence, while preparing students to be Christian leaders of the future.”

Santa Fe Christian Schools will be honored with 50 private and 285 public schools at a recognition ceremony given by the U.S. Department of Education on Nov. 9-10, 2015 in Washington, D.C. Santa Fe Christian Schools will receive a plaque and a flag as symbols of their status as a National Blue Ribbon School.
