During Winter break, 71 Santa Fe Christian School students took trips to New Dehli, India, St Petersburg, Russia, and several places in Italy including Florence, Mantova and Manfredonia. Students helped out in orphanages, taught English in schools, conducted chapel in local churches and ministered in the street and coffee houses. Twenty-one SFC faculty and parents also attended the trips. Santa Fe Christian Schools goes back to the same international locations each year to build relationships with the local community. Faced with language barriers, different foods and challenging sleeping conditions, SFC students learned to step outside their normal comfort zones. They learned to depend on each other as they worked on teams. They also had a chance to see how other cultures worshipped Jesus.
