The San Diego Padres are the only of the 30 Major League Baseball franchises to have never thrown a no-hitter. That’s a significant drought, with the team existing since 1969 and playing its home games at Petco Park since 2004.That means that for roughly 820 games at Petco Park, no San Diego pitcher has accomplished the feat.

Local boy Chase Bushor of Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, Calif.) managed to accomplish the feat quickly Friday, with a no-hitter against Bishop’s (La Jolla, Calif.) in the MLB venue. http://www.maxpreps.com/blogs/maxwire-national-blog/aikvB0xaaU2Rfdh8ArBzVA/santa-fe-christians-chase-bushor-throws-no-hitter-at-petco-park.htm
