Middle School Curriculum

SFC’s Middle School curriculum goes beyond traditional academics to focus on the complete growth of each student. There are numerous leadership opportunities, an advisory curriculum, and a wide variety of electives. Whether in arts, sciences, or humanities, our electives empower students to pursue their passions and develop a well-rounded skill set.

Students attend chapel weekly that is tailored to the Middle School experience, ensuring the message is both relevant and engaging.

Meet the Teachers

Matt Robinson, History

In the classroom, Matt ignites curiosity through source analysis, engaging games, and meaningful projects, fostering critical thinking and historical empathy. Matt received his Bachelors in History from Loyola Marymount University and his Masters in Curriculum Design from Grand Canyon University.

Grantham Jones, Science

Grantham Jones has been at SFC since 2018 and teaches middle school life science as well as coaches high school football. He has a degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and is passionate about seeing students’ potential and faith realized in the classroom and on the field. He considers his job the best job in the world because he gets to work with the best people—his students!

Are sports offered?

Yes, our Middle School competes against other Middle Schools in the area. We offer a wide variety like baseball, flag football, volleyball and more!

Are advanced classes offered in Middle School?

Yes, we have advanced english and math courses available to students.

What grade does Middle School start?

Middle School is sixth through eighth grade.

Does Middle School have student council?

Yes, we offer Student Council Leadership where students can create, govern and implement a wide
variety of middle school activities from planning and running assemblies to hosting special spirit days.

Are students required to bring their own computer to school?

Yes, we are a bring your own device campus starting in middle school. Your own device is not needed in Elementary School.

What is your cell phone policy?

Students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day.
