We want every qualified, mission-appropriate student to be given the opportunity to attend SFC… but we know that for many families, the investment can be a challenge. Families may be awarded tuition assistance on the basis of a demonstrated financial need in grades K-12. Our goal is to make a Christian education accessible to many.

Tuition & financial aid

SFC uses an independent, third-party assessor, FACTS, to determine tuition awards. We offer tuition assistance for those who qualify. These awards are grants — a gift to your family — not a loan that needs to be repaid. Fill out the FACTS application to find out if you qualify for tuition assistance. Student retreats, camps, elective fees, yearbooks, club memberships, class fees, and field trips are included in tuition.
All inquiries are kept confidential. Families new to SFC should apply for admission and tuition assistance concurrently. Admissions and tuition assistance processes are distinct and separate. Tuition assistance has no bearing on the Admission Committee’s deliberations and its assessment of an applicant’s potential as a Santa Fe Christian student. SFC is not accepting international student applications. SFC subscribes to the philosophy of needs-based tuition assistance as opposed to merit-based scholarships. Consequently, no awards are made solely on the basis of academic, athletic, or artistic ability. To receive tuition assistance, a student’s family must demonstrate financial need.

A non-refundable registration fee of a $500 and a $2,000 tuition deposit is due when an enrollment contract is submitted. Tuition can be paid monthly, semi-annually, or annually.

Financial assistance questions

Does SFC offer tuition assistance?

Yes. It is the desire of Santa Fe Christian Schools to make Christian education accessible to many. In the past five years, SFC has disbursed over $7 million in tuition assistance and we remain committed to providing financial support through several need-based programs. Does SFC offer any scholarships?

Santa Fe Christian Schools is pleased to offer a four-year scholarship to an incoming high school freshman new to SFC who embodies the school’s mission in academics, personal faith in Jesus Christ, and servant leadership. Each year, the Eagle Scholarship is awarded to one 9th-grade student who excels academically, puts his/her faith in action, and displays outstanding leadership skills. The scholarship provides funding for tuition, books, uniforms, athletic fees, and field trips for up to four years. Scholarship applicants must be new to Santa Fe Christian Schools and be accepted by the admissions committee to be eligible.

What if circumstances occur that result in our family’s inability to attend SFC after I’ve committed and signed the contract and paid the fee and deposit?

As soon as you are able, let the Admissions Director know of your inability to attend SFC. The fee and deposit are not refundable. Depending on the timeline (outlined in the contract) and the date (determined by the date the school’s Registrar receives written notification of intent to withdraw), the following is the amount due to the school:

August 15-November 15: 100% of the balance owed on first-semester tuition
After November 15: 100% of all remaining tuition owed (both semesters).

If the school requests the student to withdraw or expel a student for any reason, then you are obligated to pay pro-rata tuition due up to the date of withdrawal or expulsions from SFC as well as any outstanding fees due through that date.
