Santa Fe Christian Athletics has appointed Bailey Brown as the new head coach for the women’s lacrosse team, marking a significant milestone for SFC Athletics, according to a news release.
“It’s a big deal for SFC to land her to lead our team,” said Athletic Director Doug Miller in the news release.
Brown’s decorated lacrosse career includes records for most draw controls at San Diego State University (SDSU), multiple MPSF championships, and various MVP and All-Conference honors. She was also a standout academically, recognized as a 5x Scholar Athlete.
“I am excited to coach at Santa Fe Christian because of the opportunity to elevate the lacrosse program by creating a positive and competitive atmosphere,” said Brown in the news release.
Originally from Katy, Texas, Brown excelled in both lacrosse and basketball in high school before playing Division I lacrosse and earning a marketing degree and MBA at SDSU. She has coaching experience at The Bishop’s School and with Mad Dog Lacrosse, where she also served as Girls Orange County director.
Brown’s commitment to excellence and fostering a positive team culture is expected to usher in a new era of success for the Eagles, the news release stated.
