Steps to apply to
SFC Upper School
(9th-12th)

1. Fill out the Kickoff Questionnaire. Within a few days, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the online application through our school
portal.

2. Sign in to the portal where you will find a checklist of the required documents needed for the admission process.

3. Complete the application. The application will ask for your contact information, where your family attends church, and a Christian testimony from one parent. You will also need to pay a fee and submit the following support documents:

Academic Records
Current and previous year report card
Standardized testing

Evaluations
Teacher evaluation
Administrator evaluation
Pastoral recommendation

Student Input

Miscellaneous
Immunization Records
Birth Certificate
Parent IDs

4. An entrance test will be scheduled once an application has been submitted. SFC is hosting 3 days of on-campus admissions assessments (Independent School Entrance Exam, ISEE) for students entering 9th – 12th grade. Select the preferred test date via the online checklist. Space is limited. Testing fee is $140. The test takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

    • November 7 at 9:00am

 

    • December 5 at 9:00am

 

    January 23 at 9:00am

Upper School applicants who are unable to attend one of the on-campus testing dates can take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) online.  Register at the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) website, www.erblearn.org, and add SFC as a score recipient. Our school code is 052741. Score reports must be submitted from tests taken between October 1, 2020 – January 23, 2021. The assessment fee can range from $140-$200.

5. The family interview is the last step in the process and will be scheduled once the application is complete.

(6th-8th)

Space is limited. No additional testing fees. The assessment takes approximately 90 minutes to complete.

Entering Kindergarten

SFC is hosting 4 days of on-campus admissions assessments (Scale for Development Readiness, DRS)  for students entering Kindergarten. Select the preferred test date via the online checklist. Space is limited. No additional testing fees. The assessment is one-on-one and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.

    • November 5 at 9:00am or 10:30am

 

    • November 6 at 9:00am or 10:30am

 

    • December 5 at 9:00am or 10:30am

 

    January 15 at 9:00am or 10:30am

Steps to apply to
SFC Preschool

1. Schedule a tour by phone at 760-753-4952 or email [email protected] and meet with the Preschool Director. (30 min tour)

2. A link to an admissions Inquiry form will be emailed. Once the inquiry is processed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the online application through our school portal.

3. Sign in to the portal where you will find a checklist of the required documents needed for the admission process.

4. An entrance test will be scheduled once an application has been submitted. Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) test at SFC for students entering 1st – 5th grade. Developmental Readiness Scale (DRS) for students entering Kindergarten.

5. Complete the application. The application will ask for your contact information, where your family attends church and a Christian testimony from one parent. You will also need to submit the following support documents:

SFC reserves the right to select students and families on the basis of academic performance, Christian commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with SFC’ administration and policies. Therefore, SFC reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue the enrollment of a student on the basis of, but not necessarily limited to, sexual immorality, sexual orientation, or inability to support the moral principles or uphold the moral values of the school.
