Middle School electives give students a chance to try something new. Santa Fe Christian Middle School’s elective program is designed to allow students to choose up to eight engaging and exciting electives per year in the arts, computational thinking, digital communications, leadership development, physical education and world languages.
Lydia Tkach, 8th grade student applauds the electives, exclaiming, “ I really enjoy the new elective format because it allows you to try new things. If it weren’t for the new format, I would never have had the opportunity to learn how to paint from such an excellent teacher.”
“It is our desire that our eighth grade students move into high school with a strong recognition of where their talents lie so they can further hone their skills in the years leading to college,” declares Dr. Todd Deveau, Middle School Principal.
Middle School electives give kids the opportunity to try something new for a short time, and discover new interests and talents in the process.
