The Eagle Scholarship is awarded annually to one new incoming freshman who excels academically; puts his/her faith in action; displays outstanding leadership skills and has demonstrated financial need. The scholarship McLellan will receive includes funding for full tuition, books, uniforms, field trips, and athletic fees for up to four years. Eight students have received the Eagle Scholarship to date, with two previous recipients attending Harvard and Stanford.

McLellan, an incoming freshman, is both talented and servant-hearted. She dances classical ballet and is highly involved at Encinitas Ballet Academy, where she recently performed in Coppélia. Additionally, she is a small group leader and volunteer for the children’s ministry at her church. McLellan also has a passion for baking cakes and cookies for her family and friends. This incoming Eagle follows her sister, Sophia (class of 2020), into SFC.

McLellan joyfully states, “I’m so excited to make new friends, and learn from the fantastic teachers through a Biblical perspective that SFC offers. I’m so grateful for this amazing award and want to say thank you to everyone who made it possible!”
